Coupon Venture Week 2: Big Y

Okay, my goal at actual grocery stores is to only buy stuff that is big time on sale or sale+coupon....today I almost hit that goal, but I broke down and bought a bag of coffee at full price...but I have been relying on instant coffee for over a week now, I think that's a good enough reason...

Anyway, I'm pretty proud of this shopping trip but it's not gangbusters or anything...I spent $26.80 but saved $25.35 with sales + coupons...granted only $5 of that was coupons, but the stuff I had coupons for was practically free!

Here's what I got:

I will spare you the exact details (unless you really want to know) but the biggest deals were:

Bags o' Salad: Buy 1 Get 2 Free
Frozen Veggies: Buy 1 Get 2 Free + $1 off when you buy 3 coupon
Salad Dressing: Buy 1 Get 2 Free + $1 off when you buy 2

Those were the biggest deals, but I'm pretty happy with those...I think I'm getting the hang of it :o)
