I am sooooooooo tired of hearing my fellow Christians crap on Halloween (there's really no nicer way to put it)
It's just another notch in the world's view that Bible believing Christians are just judgmental and uptight.
So, kids dress up in cute, fun costumes walk around the neighborhood and get candy...last time I checked, there was no worshiping Satan involved or sacrificing of small animals before you're allowed to get some candy.
Lighten up!!
Okay, now that that's out of my system, here is how our Halloween went :o)
Jacoby was soooo excited to dress up in his Batman costume and I was really surprised that he wore the mask the entire time! He was doing great, going right up to people's houses all by himself "Trick or Treat" then "Thank you!!" and then "Let's go to another house!"
We went kind of early, so it was all a little dead and we decided to drive around to find a neighborhood that was a little more lively...we ended up at a huge development...got to the second house, we saw a guy in a wolf mask peek his head out the door, and like the evil mean parents we are, we were giddily awaiting the moment when Jacoby saw him and got freaked...but instead he tripped on the step, skinned his chin and was D.O.N.E
So, the nice people at that house gave him a handful of candy and we went on our way but now Jacoby wouldn't even look at people anymore, forget saying anything other than "I want to go home!"
There was one house at this development that was popping popcorn and giving out coffee, so we went there then headed home
Oh yeah, can't forget the cutest lion ever:
